104th Grey Cup Final
BMO Field was temporarily expanded to about 34,000 capacity for the 104th Grey Cup game, attendance was announced at 33,421 during the game. This was the 48th Grey Cup game to be held in Toronto although it was the first Grey Cup at BMO Field which had undergone a $120 million renovation in order to accommodate the Toronto Argonauts. The Grey Cup Festival featured various fan events leading up to the game, including fan engagement activities, the alumni luncheon, and autograph sessions all of which were secured by Sword security in addition to the stadium game day requirements of access control, crowd management, asset protection and alcohol control measures. Fans were privy to a fantastic game that seen the Ottawa Redblacks narrowly defeat the Calgary Stampede in a thrilling game.
