Canada 150

The 150th anniversary of Canada, also known as the 150th anniversary of Confederation and promoted by the Canadian Government as Canada 150, occurred on 1st July 2017.  In Toronto, a celebration at four locations across the City including a four-day festival at Nathan Phillips Square and one-day events at Mel Lastman Square, Humber Bay Park West and Scarborough Civic Centre were all attended and enjoyed by 100’s of thousands of spectators and participants.  Sword Security were awarded he contract by the City of Toronto to secure the events at  Mel Lastman Square and Scarborough Civic Centre. The day activities included dance-filled performances and live music and a great day was had by all thanks to our professional personnel.
