PanAm Games Toronto

The Pan Am Games were the 3rd largest ever sporting event to be held in Canada after both the summer and winter Olympics. Sword were the official security supplier to the Games and we deployed almost 1000 personnel across 22 of the Games venues including Pan Am Park, Athletes village, York University, Mattamy Athletic center and the games transport hub. Sword personnel provided access control, asset protection, alcohol control and sponsor activation protection as well as security patrol vehicles to all of the downtown PanAm sites. The games were a success with some 6,132 athletes representing 41 National Olympic Committee members from the Americas.
